[Abstract] Objective: To explore the clinical value of cardiac enzymes and troponin I combination detection in the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods: Gather 205 cases of acute chest pain patients from January 2009 to January 2010, at while take its blood into be measured the cardiac enzymes (AST, LDH, CK, CK-MB, HBDH, Mg2 ) and troponin I (cTnI) levels, compared their specificity and sensitivity for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction. Results: In 205 acute chest pain patients, 120 patients confirmed to acute myocardial infarction, 103 patients of cardiac enzymes rise, the sensitivity was 85.8%, Troponin I was positive in 112 patients, the sensitivity was 93.3%. Among 120 cases negative control, 10 cases of cardiac enzymes rised, the specificity was 91.7%, 5 cases of troponin I was positive, the specificity was 95.8%. Conclusion: Troponin and cardiac enzymes combination detection improved the accuracy of clinical diagnosis of AMI.
